Many companies are now offering "sheepskin" footwear consisting of cheap cow hide or synthetics backed with wool woven into a thin fabric. Even if it is real wool, that's not the same as real sheep skin, if it doesn't say it's sheepskin, it probably isn't. For durability and comfort insist on genuine sheepskins!
